Walking in the Light of God: Walking Open to the Presence of Christ

During the season of Epiphany, the church celebrates walking in the light of God revealed in Christ. The second Sunday after Epiphany, we remember that John was not the light, but that he came to testify to the light. John came to point others to Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. We are called to testify to Christ and what Christ has done for us so that others may see Christ at work in us and through us. As we share our faith stories, we strengthen our own faith and build community. We walk in the light of Christ; we walk through life to the presence of God.
